Colour becomes pattern, and pattern becomes something entirely its own.

Iris is formed from individually composed polymer clay, bringing together soft violet florals, warm copper-gold, pale sage and ivory. Each component is cut by hand, cured, carefully sanded and polished before being joined into a fluid two-part drop.

The upper panels deliberately reveal different sections of the clay’s pattern, while the floral lower pieces bring the pair together. Gold links allow each section to move independently and catch the light as it turns.

No printed surface and no repeated design. The detail runs through the clay itself, ensuring the pattern can never be replicated exactly.
